Park's was fined £61,600 for what the FSA called exposing "customers to the risk of being sold unsuitable PPI policies" alongside loans for cars.

"Exposing" "customers to the risk".

How many were "unsuitable"? How many "customers" suffered a loss?

Insurance has been regulated for over three and a half years, what has the FSA been doing for all this time? Waiting for the poor firms to dig a deeper hole rather than guiding them around it? Was it all to justify hefty fines to fill its pension black hole and pay staff bonuses for failure?

Who guards the guards?
